Music
Every person is different, not only in appearance but in identity. There are various factors in our life that make up our identities from our favourite colours, the food we eat, the films we watch, the clothes we wear and the way we decorate our rooms. However, there is something that stands out above all of these things to form a large part of our identities, and that is music. Sometimes the music we listen to can influence all of the other factors of ourselves– we might decorate our rooms to accommodate our liking of a particular genre, we might wear clothes with a band’s logo on them and the list goes on. Even if someone does not listen to music, that in itself makes up a large part of their identity.
It goes to show how big a role music has to play in the world we live in. It is an art form that can be heard in all walks of life, from the radio and television to lifts and waiting rooms. Without music there would be a massive hole left where it once was and an effective way of passing the time and shaping our lives will be lost.
